The Chadron Police Department and Dawes County Sheriffs cooperatively investigated and arrested Darrin Little Whiteman age 19 of Colorado for all the incidents of graffiti. He is pending court and being housed at the Dawes County Jail.

During the late evening hours of June 23, 2011 and the early morning hours of June 24, 2011 persons unknown entered a building North East of Chadron on Davenport Road. There was considerable damge done to the door and Records were taken. Windows were broken out of a camper trailer and a door was broken on a second camper trailer. Two vehicles were involved in this incident. One was a passenger car with a unique tire tread pattern and the second was a pickup type vehicle with an "agressive" tire tread.
During the late evening hours of August 2, 2011 and the early morning hours of August 3, 2011 persons unknown entered the building on Davenport Road a second time. This time an air compressor and magazines were taken and the door was heavily damaged a second time. This time there appears to have been a single vehicle involved. It is believed to be the same pickup type vehicle as the first incident with the same type of "aggressive" tire tread.

In the early morning hours of July 22, 2010 a Green 2006 Honda TRX500FE6 was stolen from Edge Power Sports. The four wheeler appeared to be rode out away from the property in an unknown direction of travel. The four wheeler belongs to a private party and was in at the store for maintenance when it was taken. If you have any information regarding the whereabouts or disposition of the four wheeler, your help is greatly appreciated. The model taken can be seen in this post and is not an actual representation due to depreciation and other wear. On August 2, 2010 Officer Sanders received information and assistance from the Pine Ridge Police Department which led to the recovery of the ATV in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. Sometime Between May 5th and May 8, 2009 unknown persons took a White 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid bearing Nebraska license plate 69B809. The vehicle was parked in the alley on the residential side of the 900 Block of Chadron Avenue with the keys left inside.
